Who runs this site
This site is run by Carlos Martinez, NIF 23040243Q, Los Garcias, 30330 Cartagena, Spain. Contact: hello@customcatch.app.
Custom Catch is an independent project in development. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shopify Inc.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your store URL, the answers you choose to give in the form, the date, the language of the page, and the version of the consent text you accepted.
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics service. It counts page views per day as a single number, without storing IP addresses or anything that identifies you.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details only to email you about early access and the launch of Custom Catch, and to understand which stores need it. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 21 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI), which you give by ticking the box on the form.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw your consent, or 12 months after the launch, whichever comes first. If the project doesn’t go ahead, we delete the list and send you a single email to say so.
Who else sees it
Nobody else. The data is stored on our web hosting provider’s servers (OVHcloud, in the European Union), which processes it on our behalf. We don’t sell or share it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, object to processing, or ask for a copy, by writing to hello@customcatch.app. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing done before.
If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or to the authority in your country.
